We had a wonderful Christmas! Will was at a fun age and we especially enjoyed watching him experience the excitement of the Season. Allison's eyes would light up any time she saw Christmas tree.
Our Christmas was stretched out over several days. Wednesday and Thursday found the children and I baking and delivering Christmas goodies to several realatives and neighbors. Thursday evening we spent some time at Jason's Granny's house before heading up to his mother's for supper and gifts.
Early Friday morning, we left for Birmingham to spend the day with realatives there. After a delightful day, we arrived back at our house just in time for an im-promteau meal of pizza and salad with Jason's parents before letting Will and Allison open the presents they had received from my side of the family.
Christmas morning was a special time with our children as we opened gifts together as a family. Later, after a quick "breakfast" of hot chocolate and cherry pecan bread, Jason and Will enjoyed playing with some of his new toys while Allison napped and I took care of some last minute baking.
Our evening meal was "just the four of us" but it was delicious and gave us plenty of left-overs to enjoy in the days following.
